REDS JACK 5 HRs IN SHUTOUT OF CREW
Casey, Kearns Guillen Go Back-to-Back-to-Back--Again!

CINCINNATI, May 9 (AP) - Chris Reitsma tossed eight shutout innings and his teammates hit five home runs as the Cincinnati Reds cruised past the Milwaukee Brewers, 7-0, at Great American Ballpark.  Sean Casey hit a pair of long balls and was part of a string of three straight homers, along with Austin Kearns and Aaron Boone, in a four-run third inning.

The Reds' first run came in the second inning, courtesy of a Jason LaRue sacrifice fly that drove home Kearns, who had opened the inning with a base on balls off Brewers starter Matt Kinney (3-3).

In the bottom of the third, Jose Guillen drew a one-out walk from Kinney and Casey followed with his first home run of the game, and ninth of the year, into the right field bullpen.  Kearns immediately followed with his 12th of the season, about halfway up into the lower grandstand in left field.  Boone then followed with his 10th roundtripper of the year, giving Cincinnati a comfortable 5-0 lead.

Barry Larkin's third homer of the season came in the bottom of the fourth and upped the advantage to 6-0 and Casey's second of the game, deep into the seats in right-center field off of reliever Brooks Kieschnick in the seventh, capped the scoring.

Reitsma (3-0), making his third start of the season, was masterful, allowing only three hits and a single walk while striking out five in eight scoreless frames.  Gabe White mopped up with a single shutout inning.

This was the second time in eight days that Casey, Kearns and Boone have hit back-to-back-to-back home runs.  On May 1, the trio accomplished the feat in a 9-4 home field victory over the Colorado Rockies.
